Steam Method (Best for Felt & Wool Hats)

1. Boil Water: Heat some water in a kettle or a pot until it produces a steady stream of steam.
2. Steam the Brim: Hold the hat over the steam, focusing on the areas that need reshaping. Be careful not to burn yourself.
3. Shape by Hand: Once the material softens, gently mold the brim with your hands to the desired curve.
4. Hold the Shape: Keep it in position until it starts to cool and stiffen.
5. Let It Dry: Set the hat on a clean, dry surface and let it air dry completely.

Towel & Cup Method (For Straw Hats)

1. Dampen the Brim: Lightly mist the brim with warm water.
2. Shape Using a Cup: Place a cup or bowl underneath the brim where you want the curve.
3. Wrap with a Towel: Drape a towel over it to hold the shape.
4. Let It Sit: Leave it for a few hours until dry.
